Why isn’t it enough just to do good?  Why isn’t it enough just to fast?  I usually think of Lent in those simple terms.  Can I really make it forty days without…?  Can I make myself really get up thirty minutes early for the next forty days in order to pray?  Can I…?

My walk with Christ and the events leading to my relationship with Christ have made for quite a journey. I was baptized in the Catholic Church as an infant but my parents stopped attending church when I was very little.  My only exposure was when I visited my grandparents. In Part 1 of this article, I explored dating from a single’s perspective.  In Part 2, I’ll delve into the minds of married couples for their input on this subject.  As far as married couples go, Rebecca hit the proverbial nail on the head. She said, “An integral part of a successful marriage is your faith. Believing in God, amplifies your faith an infinite number of times. Faith that the almighty can take care of the problems life throws at you makes all the difference in your attitude about life.”
