Draw Yourself a Bath
I should have known I needed to be more specific with a little boy that’s prone to distraction. He’d handled all the snakes and frogs he’d cared to for the day, abandoned his tree fort, left the makeshift dirt bike trail (which at our house meant a dirty bike on a plain old trail), and come into the house with enough soil behind his ears and between his toes to grow a decent crop of pumpkins.
I Cannot Do It All
I cannot do it all! Why do I keep trying? I found myself down in the dumps, wanting to change all kinds of things in my life (exercise more, cook healthier, get up earlier, be more consistent with my children, really make time for my husband), but I was completely low on the energy to change anything.
A Place For Us
I am the proud mom of three. I have friends who delight in their two children or five kids or nine. Some have adopted their blessings from all over the world. Each family delights (most days!) in the gifts of their children.
