Waiting stinks. For all that we counsel our kids to be patient and reel it off as one of the fruits of the spirit, do you actually know any patient people? People who truly don't mind waiting in traffic, waiting at the DPS, waiting in the school line, waiting to check out at Wal-Mart … ? My patience-ometer is kind of schizophrenic. It veers way up and way down with little warning, depending on how tired I am, how hot it is outside, and how much the kids are fighting.
You Changed the Rules!
My little buddy, Ethan, taught me another profound truth yesterday. He thought he was "babysitting" the pastor's ten-week old Jack Russell puppy. He decided to entertain Buster by allowing the short-legged pup to chase him in and out of the kitchen and around the other direction to form a circular race track. “Fool-Proof Weight Loss”? Is that even possible? Yes. From a purely physical standpoint, there are a few things you can do that have been proven to absolutely work. Add to that several scriptural elements, which include the Lord’s help and you have “Fool-Proof” methods that can mean the difference between success and “same-old, same-old.”

If you had siblings when you were growing up, then you probably know quite a lot about the blame game. Being the oldest of three kids, I must say that there was plenty of blame passed around at my house during the 1970s. Since that time my brother will tell you that most of the time when my sister got in trouble it was because of something I had thought of doing, he had done and she had gotten blamed for. Sadly, that is probably pretty close to the truth.
