A couple of weeks ago I stumbled across a movie that starred D. David Morin and Gavin MacLeod.  The movie was called "Time Changer" and also starred Jennifer O’Neil, Hal Linden, Paul Rodriguez, and Richard Riehle. I found the film to be both very enlightening and troubling at the same time. The movie’s main character is a professor who lived in the year 1890 and had written a book that talked about teaching morality to people without mentioning the authority of Jesus Christ. A friend and colleague helps him understand the faults of this type of thinking by sending him 100 years into the future in a time machine.

Throughout the world many people experience different world religions. However, many Christians have been blinded within their own religion. In today’s times, several Christians believe Jesus is not the only way to eternity. And when the Olympics aired from China in August, I read how tens of thousands of bilingual Bibles and New Testaments were printed for the Games.

But as we grow, we accumulate new fears. Some are fearful of losing their jobs, not having enough money to pay the bills, or that they won’t be able to get into a good college. Even though you are no longer scared of the dark or monsters, you still worry about other things.

Imagine a blazing hot summer day. You have been outside for several hours, and the sweat is now pouring out of you. At this very moment, what do you desire most? A tall, ice-cold glass of water would be heaven right about now. It would cool you down and quench your thirst.
