By Ed Crumley
It’s a long story. A hundred year’s worth. He celebrated his 100th birthday on June 24, 2008, so he actually had six more months to go, passing away on January 28, 2009.

You Have the Right to Remain Silent
By Bob Kaku
I leaned forward against the patrol car as the officer read me the Miranda rights and clasped my wrists in handcuffs. I had never been in trouble with the law before. Earlier that evening, I went to a company party at an upscale Silicon Valley restaurant. All day long I hadn’t eaten anything because of my hectic work schedule, and I was famished. For Christian men, purity is not only possible, it is necessary. The following five guards will help.

By Ed Crumley
It was 1989 or 90–the year of the White Mountain Wilderness white-out. Actually, there was no snow, but there might as well have been because the trail disappeared right before our eyes. To be truthful, it didn’t lose us—we lost it.
