There are as many excuses for not eating your fruits and vegetables as there are varieties to choose from. “They are too expensive.” “I don’t have the time.” “I don’t like the way they taste.” “They go bad too fast.” “My kids won’t eat them.” I could go on and on. My job is to provide tools and motivation to overcome these perceived obstacles. I hope to make eating your fruits and vegetables easy, fun, and an extra boost for your health.

A pastor's wife shared with me an excellent illustration. She suggested I take a tube of toothpaste, and squeeze out all of the toothpaste. Then, she asked me to try to put the toothpaste back into the tube. No matter how I stuffed and crammed and coerced the paste, it was almost impossible to fill the tube back up. Then she said this is just like our words, they might come out of our mouth effortlessly, but trying to get them back is futile. What an illustration!

The Passion of Christ

What is the passion of Christ? Many would say it is the period of intense suffering in the life of Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane to the crucifixion. To others the passion of Christ evokes images of gruesome punishment depicted in movies such as Mel Gibson’s “The Passion.” Certainly these views are correct but I have discovered that there is much more than this to the passion of Christ.
Cat Goes To Heaven

One day, a cat dies of natural causes and goes to heaven, where he meets the Lord Himself. The Lord says to the cat, "I am so glad to have you here, and if there is any way I can make your stay in heaven more comfortable, please let me know.” The cat thinks for a moment and says, "Lord, all my life I have lived with a poor family and had to sleep on a hard wooden floor.” The Lord stops the cat and says, "Say no more”, and a wonderful, fluffy pillow appears.
