What happens when a nightgown model and a soap opera star meet in a Croatian village where millions believe the Mother of God appears to three visionaries? The soap opera star finds his faith and the woman he is meant to be with, after he convinces her to trust him.
Jewel of the Adriatic is a story of faith, healing, and love. The hero and heroine grow together and learn to overcome past anguish. They both discover how to put their trust in the Lord and in one another.
I really enjoyed the main characters, Colin and Maya, as well as their family members and the various other supporting cast. I found myself smiling at the quirky members of their tour group and wanting to visit Maya’s parent’s bed and breakfast. The authors did a fabulous job of making me feel like I was coming home while keeping me interested in the faith-based and romantic storylines.
I would recommend Jewel of the Adriatic as a story that increases your faith and keeps you rooting for Colin and Maya.
