The almost 50 member East Orange, NJ based group, G-FY-G, accomplishes what their name means: Glorify God; and with more than just with music.

Most of the members have come out of or stayed away from drugs and gangs. Some have gone to college. Between good discipline and hard work to change the lives of many, they've earned a place of leadership in their spheres of influence, and have changed the lives of many inner-city teens.

Most of them are only 16-25 years old, and yet they have all the talent needed to win several gospel music competitions since the group's inception only seven years ago. They've even played at the Six Flags Gospel Fest in St. Louis. They've also performed along with big names like CeCe Winans.

In July of 2008, they put out their first album, "I Came To Glorify," with upbeat and updated gospel music. The title song gives a taste of their style: vocal excellence, movement precision, synchronization, versatility, and stage presence. It has songs ranging from a Caribbean-style "Jesus is a Rock," to a revised "Let Everything that has Breath."

This is definitely a gospel group that Glorifies God.
