Artist Spotlight: DSM

The aptly titled 2007 release from DSM, “In The Midst Of Chaos” highlights the confusion and discontentment in the world today. This band gives hope and a promise of a new day even in unsettling situations. As the world searches for answers to the questions that overwhelm, DSM musically proclaims the solution; our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dave Spier, Dan Thompson and Jordan Rowan make up this modern rock band that has been produced by Nashville’s Barry Blair. If you like Christian modern rock music, you will enjoy their latest CD immensely. With its well written and professionally produced songs, I’m certain that you will listen to it again and again. DSM writes relevant songs that will expose the heart of God to the world that is filled with despair and hurt.  Everyone who loves Christ will enjoy listening to the lyrics in the song titled “As I Follow You.”

In August, DSM’s guitarist Jeff Dennis decided to leave the project after five years, but the group will continue making music as a three-piece band.
