Where do we go from here, from a Christian music standpoint? The word “hope” implies confidently that the next generation will continue to follow the path that their pioneering generation blazed. Christian music from the past to now must leave an imprint on the next generation of singers and musicians. A firm foundation is encapsulated in the sound of the band: “Escaping The Crowd.” Ministry, family and strong ties to their local church, define these young people whose ages range from ages 15-19.
Escaping The Crowd has written a song “Here To Stay” that eloquently expresses that we are here to stay and make our mark in life. They may be young in age, but they possess a mature outlook on life that is enlightened by their love for the Lord. Purposed and firm in their relationships with their families, you too will experience it as you peruse their website, songs and its pertinent information about the band.
This band was formed in 2007, but they are years ahead in potential. My prayer is that this band of young people will continue to gel and mesh together as a force to be reckoned with. There are endless possibilities and accomplishments that await them as they “press on” to future musical horizons. The world needs positive and uplifting music that will encourage and point to the One who created them for excellence.
