Southern Louisiana Sweetheart Ashley Abshire Released First Single

Nashville, TN – April 7, 2009 – Charming Southern Louisiana sweetheart, Ashley Abshire, has just released her first single to Country radio. It is called "The Horse You Rode In On" off of her debut album I'm Listening.  This is a country rocker that is sure to catch the attention from radio audiences everywhere. Several of the songs on the album were written by notable songwriters, such as Rachel Proctor, Bob Dipiero, and Tom Shapiro.

Ashley Abshire is living her life long dream of becoming a Country Music artist. Debuting at the Power Source Showcase during CRS, she sang her heart out to many major record label executives. Ashley was accepted with open arms and left the crowd wanting more.
