HisSong Scores Third Consecutive Top 20 Hit
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vine Records recording artist HisSong has landed their third consecutive Top 20 hit on the Singing News Magazine Top 80 chart from their latest record – On the Way Up.
The group’s current hit single, “That’s When God Steps In”, jumped from #23 to #13 in its third month on the chart.

“That’s When God Steps In” is HisSong’s third consecutive Top 20 hit from their Vine Records debut album On the Way Up. The group scored their first Top 5 hit with “I Still Have It All” earlier this year. That song peaked at #2 on the Singing News Magazine Top 80 chart. The first single from the album, “The Grave Can’t Hold Me” peaked in the Top 20 as well.
In addition to reaching the Top 20 on the Singing News Top 80, “That’s When God Steps In” peaked at #2 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart. The song is also at #14 on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 40 Fan Chart and debuted at #51 on the Gospel Music News November Top 100.
In addition to the group’s recent radio success, HisSong received a nomination for Best Live Performer at the 2008 SGN Music Awards. The group performed live at the Awards Celebration this past April.
