GRAMMY Nominations

Santa Monica, Calif. (December 4, 2008) – During the GRAMMY® Nominations Concert Live: Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night held last night in Los Angeles, Calif., the Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 51st Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Daywind Music Group recording artists the Booth Brothers and Karen Peck and New River were both nominated for Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album. The Booth Brothers’ debut Daywind album release entitled Room For More received the nomination, along with Karen Peck and New River’s sophomore Daywind release, Ephesians One. This was Karen Peck and New River’s second consecutive GRAMMY® nomination.

Booth Brothers members, Michael Booth, his brother Ronnie, and Jim Brady are elated with the news of the nomination. Michael shared, "We're so grateful to see the truth of Christ recognized by other musicians and music industry peers."

Karen Peck Gooch, along with her sister, Susan Peck Jackson, and Devin McGlamery make up Karen Peck and New River. Karen expressed her feelings about this amazing news. The Booth Brothers’ album, Room For More, produced by Barry Weeks, features the #1 song, “Welcome To The Family.” Karen Peck and New River’s Ephesians One, produced by GRAMMY® award-winning producer, Bubba Smith (Crabb Family, Kirk Franklin, Shirley Caesar), features the current hit single, “I Want To Thank You.”

The 51st GRAMMY® Awards will be held on February 8, 2009, at the Los Angeles' Staples Center, and will broadcast in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
