Daywind Music Group Celebrates
Hendersonville, TN (March 24, 2009) – Top 10 nominees were recently announced for the 2009 Singing News Fan Awards and Daywind Music Group is honored to have received 81 nominations in all.
Nominations covered a wide range of categories and honored groups, individuals, songs, albums, and songwriters. The Booth Brothers led the pack with 11 nominations in all. Receiving 10 nominations were the Perrys, Triumphant Quartet, Greater Vision, and Legacy Five. Karen Peck and New River and Brian Free and Assurance garnered seven nominations. Mark Trammell Trio received five nods. Taking three nominations each were Austins Bridge and Crabb Revival. Aaron and Amanda Crabb received one nomination. In addition to artist nominations, Daywind Music Publishing writers were also recognized. Gerald Crabb, Dianne Wilkinson, Ronnie Hinson, and Kyla Rowland all received individual songwriter nominations.

The second round of voting for Singing News subscribers will take place in the May issue of the magazine. The third round is during the month of July, and then on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY, the Singing News will announce the Fan Award winners with the top artists of Gospel music in attendance. The ceremony takes place during the National Quartet Convention.
