Receives IBMA Nomination
Hendersonville, Tenn. (August 25, 2008)- Daywind Records is proud to announce that We Are Family, featuring Jeff And Sheri Easter, the Lewis Family, and the Easter Brothers, garnered an International Bluegrass Music Association nomination for the 2008 Recorded Event Of The Year.
This recording was quite an historic event for this incredible family with such rich Bluegrass and Gospel music history. Jeff and Sheri Easter performed on and produced the project. Daywind Records Vice President and A&R Director, Norman Holland, said, “This was a tremendous moment in Bluegrass music history. What made it so significant was not just the special family musical heritage and harmony, but additionally, the kind of harmony that goes beyond that, and reflects years of life and deep love for each other. The 19th Annual IBMA Awards, to be hosted by Del McCoury, are slated for Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
