JACI VELASQUEZ PERFORMS NEW SINGLE “JESUS (THE WAY)” ACCOMPANIED BY AARON SHUST

New York, NY – April 29, 2008 – Although GMA is over for this year, there is quite a buzz going around about a special performance that happened there with Jaci Velasquez and Aaron Shust.  During the Word Distribution luncheon, Velasquez performed her new single “Jesus (the Way)” and Aaron accompanied her on the guitar.  There was a surprise moment when Aaron broke into singing his #1 hit song “My Savior, My God” and Jaci sang bits of the chorus of her song over him.  To view this performance go to http://www.jacivelasquez.com/jesustheway.htm.

Velasquez is currently starting a tour alongside her husband Nic Gonzales’ band Salvador and her new single is currently getting lots of notice at radio.  She will be performing “Jesus (the Way)” on The 700 Club on June 17th and various features in CCM and ChristianityToday.com will be posted in May.
