| The new album – tentatively titled Soul Searchin’ – is being produced by Jessica Harrison (Hope’s Call). Harrison has previously worked on recordings for the Jody Brown Indian Family, The Dills, and more. Soul Searchin’ is being engineered by Joe Carrell. Vocals were recorded at Daywind Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Soul Searchin’ features instrumental work by some of the industry’s leading session players such as David Huntsinger, Gary Smith, Ricky Free, Duncan Mullins, and Jeremy Medkiff The new album also features brand new songs written by heavy hitting songwriters like Rebecca J. Peck, Tim Parton, John Robinson, and Dottie Rambo. Jessica Harrison also contributed to the songwriting efforts as well as group members Kelley Matthews and Pam Reeves. “We had such a wonderful time in the studio with Jessica and everyone else involved,” mentioned Kelley Matthews of New Day. “We are so excited for everyone to finally hear this recording. We’ve poured our lives and hearts into this recording, and we just know that people are going to be blessed by it!” Soul Searchin’ has a tentative release date of July 2007!
