The new song, entitled “The Grave Can’t Hold Me,” is from the group’s highly anticipated new recording. The song could be heard last week on over 100 affiliate radio stations. |
| Dennis Humphries of HisSong says, “The response during and after singing this song is incredible. The song is different from anything we have ever recorded. The first verse starts off with acoustic guitar and by the time the chorus comes in, the music with live orchestra adds such an awesome feeling to the song.”
“The Grave Can’t Hold Me” will be shipped to all Southern Gospel radio stations this week. The song is currently streaming on HisSong’s MySpace (myspace.com/hissongministries) and will also be streaming on the group’s website this week. HisSong was recently in the studio finishing up vocals for the group’s upcoming album and follow-up to Watching & Waiting. This as-of-yet untitled album is the second recording for HisSong that is being produced by Dove Awarding-winning and Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter Wayne Haun and engineered by Harmony Honors winner Kevin Ward. The new album will feature all new material and a 75-piece orchestra from Prague. HisSong owner/manager Dennis Humphries said, “I have never been as excited about a project as I am this one. The material we have chosen for this new project is incredible. Wayne has some amazing ideas for this new project, and we are all really excited about it. This project is going to be unlike anything we have ever recorded.” The release date for the as-of-yet untitled recording has not yet been set.
