Nashville, TN – Christian author, motivational speaker, and book publisher Deborah Smith proudly makes her debut attendance at the 38th Annual GMA Week. Remarkably, this appearance coincides with the “national distribution” of her books with Biblio Distribution (sister company of National Book Network, Inc.), the fastest growing book distributor in North America. This powerful author of two Christian novels — Ministers with White Collars and Black Secrets and its newly released sequel, Robbed Without A Gun — is certainly no stranger to the test of faith. At seventeen, Ms. Smith suffered a life-altering car accident on a busy highway which left her severely cut and burned, followed by divorce, domestic abuse, family tragedies, disappointing relationships, and death. Losing her mother to diabetes has by far been one of her hardest tests ever. Nevertheless, surviving these trails, remaining steadfast in her faith, and accepting the magnitude of God’s power only fueled the fire that has unleashed the woman that God ordained Ms. Smith to be today. The decision to write and talk about her most personal, deepest dark secrets (although difficult) provided a therapeutic balance for Ms. Smith. She hopes that by sharing her life openly, encourages other women who experience similar afflictions, to reach into the depths of their soul to recapture inner-strength and self-acceptance. Ms. Smith’s message throughout her writings and appearances is fervently clear — through the grace of God, all can be forgiven! Even within the confines of spirituality, everyone makes mistakes.
