Music News: Jaime Jamgochian
Nashville, TN —- October 20, 2006 —– The #1 hit single for artist-worshiper, Jaime Jamgochian, “Hear My Worship,” just completed it’s run at the top of the Christian Radio Weekly chart after an incredible eight weeks, as well as the R&R chart for five.
As a result of the song’s exposure, several Christian websites have reported how the song is connecting with fans, worship leaders, and Churches as they are seeing numerous requests for the single from various search engines.
The popular song has also given cause to celebrate several firsts for many of the people and companies involved in the project. Besides being the first #1 single for Jamgochian as an artist, it was also her first as a songwriter and for her co-writer, Sam Mizell. At the same time, it was the first #1 charting song for new indie label Centricity Records, its publishing division, and for the track’s producer, Jeff Thomas.
Jamgochian’s career began to gain visibility with her June 2006 debut CD Reason To Live. From flattering album reviews, cover stories in Brio & Beyond and In The Times, along with numerous TV appearances including Tennessee Mornings/Fox 17, At Home Live!, Celebration, and her recent Focus On The Family Chapel Service, Jamgochian’s heart and ministry still remains focused on leading the Church to worship.
After a busy season serving as worship leader on the Girls Of Grace tour, Jaime is beginning the process of writing new songs for her sophomore project, tentatively scheduled for summer 2007.
