A verse that comes to mind when I listened to Blake Goss’s debut album, “See Into Me,” is Ephesians 5:19, “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.” The songs from “See Into Me” speak of the presence of God in our lives and in our hearts. This album reflects the true heart of praise and worship music. It reveals the heart of a true worshiper of God in Blake Goss.

Playing guitar and singing praise and worship music come easy to Blake Goss. Having picked up the guitar some nine years ago, he began to play just because he wanted to sing and praise God in his quiet times, as a musical expression of his life's worship. Well, we all know how God works in mysterious ways. God took Blake’s passion for worship music and blessed him with the ability to lead others in worship.

Blake’s experience leading worship spans from leading worship for youth groups and touring with a band he formed called “Thief on the Right,” to recently being called into full-time ministry. The calling into full-time ministry led to the release of “See Into Me” and to a job as the Worship Pastor at Freedom Church in Acworth, Georgia.

Blake believes that singing and playing his guitar for the church is only a tiny part of his responsibility in the church. He says, “How I live outside the church, out in the real world is what makes me a true worship leader.”

I love what Blake Goss is all about. He is a true Christian artist and a worship leader. He does not do this for the fame or the glory. He gives all the glory to God at the end of the day. Blake is a worshiper that is blessed with the ability to lead others into the presence of God. What an awesome blessing God truly is!
